Ladies' Rally for the Cure

On June 9, 2009 Hawk Pointe Golf Club in Washington, Warren County, New Jersey will once again be taking part in the Rally for the Cure, a breast cancer awareness campaign and fundraiser that is the nation's largest grassroots women's golf program. This will be our 5th Rally for the Cure event and we anticipate 150 attendees. All proceeds will go to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, whose mission is to eradicate breast cancer as a life-threatening disease.
Corporations, local businesses and individual donors have the chance to help us raise funds in a number of ways:
- Sponsorships and advertising help us to underwrite the event, allowing us to keep the admission cost down, thereby attracting more participation.
- Donations of goods and services, which will be auctioned off through Tricky Tray, silent and live auctions, helped us to raise a large portion of our donation in past years — we look to continue that trend this year.
- Involvement of lady golfers of all skill levels in this fun, educational and empowering event through corporate sponsored foursomes is greatly encouraged.
In addition, we will once again be holding a Men's Rally Day on June 10th which will raise funds for Susan G. Komen for the Cure as well as the Prostate Cancer Foundation.
We are looking forward to another outstanding event this year and hope to expand participation from within and outside our local area. Attached you will find more details about donating to this worthy cause. Every level of participation is greatly welcomed.

Rally for the Cure®, in partnership with Susan G. Komen for the Cure and Conde Nast Publishing, is a grassroots golf program dedicated to spreading awareness in the fight to eradicate breast cancer as a life-threatening disease. Rally brings the breast cancer awareness message to women golfers, and its events provide the platform for special fundraising opportunities for Komen for the Cure.
Concurrent with spreading awareness, select Conde Nast magazines provide coverage and reinforcement of early detection issues that are so important to helping women realize that until there is a cure, it is our best defense.
